Somdet Phra Park (Ayutthaya-Thailand)
Somdet Phra Si Nakharin Park or simply Suan Somdet is dedicated to Princess Sri Nagarindra Boromaracha Chonani, a beloved woman who is across Thailand also known as Princess Mother. She died at the age of 95 in 1995 and her commemorative monument is in the middle of this park. Ayutthaya is a city with a great history and a lot of it is still preserved as it was 250 years ago. In Somdet Phra park, You can see the remains of numerous temples such as Wat Chao Phram, Wat Sangkha Thae, Wat Luang Chi Krut and many others. Throughout the park, there is plenty of greenery, flowers and the remains of ancient monuments and temples. Some of the parks parts are converted into plant gardens.
