The Monastery and Church of St. Dominic
The monastery and church of St. Dominic date from the 14th and 15th century. The Dominicans first built the Church of St. Dominic, and then the monastery, both of which are considered valuable monuments of Trogir. They are located on the waterfront. The works of Trogir goldsmiths, the polyptych of Blaž Jurjev Trogiranin and the Sobota family tomb, which is the work of Nikola Firentinac from the 15th century, are all kept in them. The back wall of the apse is adorned with a drawing of the crescent-shaped Romanesque arch and the early Gothic bifora. The monastery and church are on UNESCO’s list of cultural and historical heritage.
