The Bell Tower of St. Justa
The gem of the Old Town of Labin is certainly the bell tower of St. Justa. St. Justa was the patron of Labin who spread love and mercy to the poor and those in need throughout his whole life . He was tortured during the reign of Diocletian. He was condemned as a Christian and was thrown into the sea with lead, but managed to survive. The remains of St. Justa are preserved and can be found right at the bell tower, while his relics can be seen in the parish church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. The bell tower is 33 meters high and offers an incredible view of the countryside.
