St. Peter’s Church
A small Gothic church dates back to the 14th century. It is located on a small square north of the cathedral. The current, modest rustic appearance is the result of numerous adaptations that took place in the past. A relief of St. Peter above the portal is the work of master Bonino from Milan, made at the beginning of the 15th century. At the same time, the entire facade with a simple belfry was built. The interior is covered by an open ceiling with beams. Along the walls, on the brackets there are 13 wooden Baroque statues of the Apostles and Evangelists, and St. Peter’s statue on the altar. They belong to Venetian artists of the 18th century. The church floor is covered with old tombstones.
