The Heritage Museum
The Heritage Museum is located in the baroque palace of the Counts Califfi from the 17th and 18th centuries, and was founded in 1954. The museum collects cultural resources and offers a rich exhibition program. The museum functions as a town gallery and a permanent museum exhibition. During its existence, it has created valuable collections such as those of contemporary art, of old masters, of books, folklore, archaeological findings, documents and photographs on the activities of the partisan battalion “Pino Budicin” and the room of Alexander Kircher. The visitors are provided with a smaller part of the museum space because of rich activities and cramped space.
