Tiger Cave-Wat Tham Sua (Kanchanaburi-Thailand)
Wat Tham Sua is one of the most famous temples in Kanchanaburi and it has the largest display of Buddha in this city. Besides the Buddha, visitors also pay tribute to the holy relics of Ketkaew Prasat Chedi. When You enter the temple area, You can choose between climbing 157 stairs leading to the Buddha or tourist train that drives to the top of the hill. The ticket prices are affordable. The Buddha at the top of the hill is named Chin Prathanporn and was built in 1973. It is 18 meters high and its width is 10 meters. From the top, You can experience breathtaking panoramic view of the Mae Klong River and endless rice fields. It is very popular among tourists and it is located around 18 km from the bridge on the river Kwai.
