Turkish bath Hamam
Turkish bath Hamam
At the entrance to the park down the stairs, to the left you will be welcomed to the Turkish bath known as Hamam. During the battle with the Turks, Ilok fell under their rule from 1526 to 1688. Hamam was a Turkish bath, where people would first enter premises akin to the sauna, where the bathing and cleaning of the body took place. Then the person would bathe in cold water and be massaged, and then left the room for relaxation and cooling. Although the Hamam is not in use, today it serves as a representation of the old times.
