Wat Boroma Ram (Ayutthaya-Thailand)
Wat Boroma Budha Ram, also known as Borommaphuttharam, is a Buddha monastery which is presumed to date back to the 17th and 18th century. It consists of a main hall called ubosot, a sermon hall also known as vihara and the two main pillars which are called chedi. The main hall is 40 meters long, 11 meters wide, divided into three sections and has a sitting Buddha statue in the meditation position. There are two entrances in the monastery – on the northeast and southwest.
