Wat Chai Chumphon Chana Songkhram
Wat Chai Chumphon Chana Songkhram, also called Wat Tai, is a temple in the southern part of Kanchanaburi. It is located near the JEATH Museum, to which You can walk by the Mae Klong River. In the temple, there is a small hall with Buddha’s footorints, temple buildings are exceptionally large and the temple is managed by the venerable abbot. There is a large number of old gates, entrances and buildings with stucco on the ceiling. You will here find numerous presentations of Buddha in the sitting position. Moreover, You can also take a look at the rider above Buddha on a white horse, who is standing on two back legs and pulling the royal carriage. The work itself is coated with gold as it is characteristic for Asian art.
