Wat Chai Mongkhon
Wat Chai Mongkhon (Pattaya-Thailand)
In the heart of the south Pattaya, there is a beautiful temple hidden among buildings and bars. It was constructed in 1937 and, according to the story, a monk who was on a pilgrimage set up his tent in the area. After that, locals started building their houses and religious structures until it grew into a temple. Inside, there is a prayer hall with images of Buddha that are estimated to be 350 years old. Apart from that, other halls also contain a Buddha statue, some paintings and details that just have to be seen.
