Wat Mangkon Kamalawat Temple (Bangkok-Thailand)

Wat Mangkon Kamalawat was opened as Wat Leng Noei Yi during the 1870s, and King Chulalongkorn later renamed it to today’s name. The temple is decorated with a lot of flowers, animals and motifs of Chinese dragons, and there is a golden Buddha in the ordinational hall. On the altar, You can find eternal light, lamps that are watered with oil so the fire of life would not stop burning and which will escort You to the afterlife. During the year there, are several important events of Chinese culture such as the celebration of the Chinese New Year. The temple is then visited by almost all Chinese people from Bangkok. If You are able to come at that time, we recommend that You visit this temple and You will then see it in full glory.
