Wat Suwan Khiri Khet (Phuket-Thailand)
Wat Suwan Khiri Khet is a colorful Buddhist temple. On Tuesday and Friday night this place turns into a market, where You can find numerous vendors selling all kinds of things, from food and clothes to souvenirs. We recommend to visit in the morning, because then You can also try traditional Thai coffee. The main building is surrounded by emerald snakes statues. Like many other temples, this one also houses many beautiful Buddha statues. The temple is located near Karon, which makes it easy to find. Wat Suwan Khiri Khet is a memorable place where You can enjoy a serene atmosphere and at the same time shop for souvenirs. It is also one of the few places where You can try traditional Thai coffee, so don’t miss it.
