Corso
As a populated area, Vinkovci in continuity exists around 8300 years making them the oldest city in Europe, and the name itself comes from the ancient Colonia Aurelia Cibalia. Until recently, the earliest Cibalae findings originated from the site of Liskovac, about 1.5 km from the city where were found object from the mid-1st century, but recent studies have revealed the remains of architecture from the 1st century on the site of present-day Corso. On paved Corso today you can find numerous cafes whose terraces are an excellent place to catch some rays of sun, but also it is a place for numerous events and performances.
