Church of St. Nicholas and Cemetery (Ulcinj-Montenegro)
Church of St. Nicholas is aN Orthodox church that was built on the foundations of the demolished mosque, which was then out of use, and was built around 1670 during the Turkish rule in these areas. The church was built to the glory of all heroes who died in 1878 when Ulcinj was liberated. The church was erected by the mayor and the ruler of Montenegro Nikola I. This Orthodox church is located about 100 meters from the main entrance gate in the Old town of Ulcinj, and it is only about 500 meters away from the main promenade. Within the church You can pray and buy various relics. In front of the church are the graves of the dukes and other important figures, and the church is surrounded by olive trees.
