Chapel of the Stone Cross
The chapel of unfortunate love or the Stone Cross Chapel is located near Eurodom. The chapel was built in memory of a girl and a young man who were often referred to as Romeo and Juliet. The legend has it that the young man was caught near a murder scene which happened on that very same night. He spent the night with his beloved girlfriend, and did not want to use that fact as alibi in order to save her honor. Despite the fact that he was not guilty of murder, he was publicly executed at the site of today’s chapel, and the girl later admitted to have spent the night with the young man. On the site of the scaffold there was a crucifix, where the Stone Cross Chapel was built in the late 18th century.
