Kućište info (Pelješac peninsula)
Kućište is located on the south side of the Pelješac peninsula. Once a small fishing village, it has become an interesting tourist resort. The sea in the Korčula channel is very clean, and the beaches are mostly gravel and sandy, and suitable for swimming and sunbathing. Due to favourable winds, the Korčula channel is ideal for sailors and surfers. In this settlement there are also several cultural and historical sites. Besides the Captain’s house and stone berths, there is also the baroque palace Lazarević, St. Anna’s church, the church of the Holy Trinity and the church of St. Lovrinac, as well as the graveyard with the church of St. Luke dating from the 14th century. Accommodation can be found in the Perna resort with the hotel complex Komodor and the car-camp in Kućište, as well as in numerous private apartments. Kućište is facing the town of Korčula and the settlement Žrnovska Banja.
